Kodawadi village is considered to be the most backward block within Pune district. Considering the community’s need, Persistent foundation initiated its first village upliftment project at Kodawadi. Repair of the village water supply was the core activity of the project.

Salumbre village in Pune lacked basic healthcare facilities, an advanced approach to agriculture, and quality technical education. Persistent Foundation launched a Healthcare Center, Agro Development Center, Computer Training Center and a Technical Education Center to uplift the community.
